Second Annual Wellsville Stampede Rodeo!
September 3 - 4
We are excited to be with the RMPRA this year and look forward to many more. This is the weekend the town of Wellsville celebrates it's "Founders Day". Wellsville was the first town settled in Cache Valley in 1856. Everyone loves the atmosphere of our Arena along the foothill of the beautiful Wellsville mountain range. We start the show off nightly at 7:00 P.M. with the Suicide Stampede, a horse race off the hill and into the arena, a great crowd pleaser our first year. This race is a jack pot event winner takes all.
Although this is only the second Wellsville Stampede Rodeo, Wellsville is no stranger to the sport of rodeo, but with the new facilities, a great rodeo committee and strong support from our Mayor and City Council, we are committed to be one of the Top Rodeo's in the RMPRA. We are excited to have Broken Hart Rodeo to supply our stock and carry out the rodeo this year. We invite you to come, share in the excitement and great rodeo experience at the Wellsville Stampede! Any questions please visit www.wellsvillecity.com.
